• Reading Specialist, PK-12

License Applications
• Initial License – The first Kansas license
• One Year Non-Renewable License – Available to people who have met all licensing requirements except the tests
• Substitute License – Available to people who have completed a teacher education program, but do not have the other licensing requirements met
• Emergency Substitute License – Allows people with 60 hours of college credit to be hired to substitute in a school
• Adding Endorsements – Qualifies you to teach more than one subject
• Provisional License – Available to licensed teachers who have part of additional endorsement completed
• Professional License – A second level license that is maintained through professional development
• Renewing your LIcense – Application available on KSDE website
