Late August:Enrollment and fee payment for all new and readmitted students not enrolled earlier. This is just a few days before classes begin.Early September:
New transfer students: If eligible, you should apply immediately for admission to teacher education. Forms are in the Center for Student and Professional Services (13 Bluemont Hall, 532-5524).
Classes begin.
If you are student teaching this semester, you are urged to join KNEA-SP to obtain liability insurance coverage. More information is available in 261 Bluemont Hall.
If you need to take the PPST or PLT for the coming year, you should check the registration dates posted in 13 Bluemont Hall. Registration is done on-line through the PRAXIS web site at: www.ets.org/praxis.
If you are graduating this semester, you must file the “Application for Graduation Clearance” form in the Center for Student and Professional Services (13 Bluemont Hall, 532-5524). This application must be submitted within the first four weeks of the semester.September:
If you are a fall or spring graduate, you should plan to register with Career and Employment Services (CES), Holtz Hall, 532-6508, in order to obtain access to job listings on Jobs On-Line, participate in on-campus interviews, and have your resume referred to employers. To register, you must pay the annual registration fee (the registration fee is effective from August to August), sign a release form, and complete registration data and on-line resume.September 25:
Deadline for submitting the “Student Teaching Assignment Requests” (STAR) form for those student teaching the following semester. The STAR form is available online on the Forms page. Computer access is available in the Catalyst in Bluemont Hall.October 1:
Note: The original cards issued for American Red Cross or equivalent First Aid and CPR certification must be shown to staff in 13 Bluemont Hall prior to submission of STAR form.

Pre-enrollment for next semester. Check the university's web site for on-line schedule information and sign up for a meeting with your advisor.November:
If you are a spring graduate, you should attend workshops offered by Career and Employment Services concerning various job search topics (including resume writing and interview skill development). At this point, fall graduates should have a quality resume prepared.Early December:
If you are graduating this semester, you must submit an on-line application to KSU for teaching license.December 20:
