The application deadline for the scholarships is February 1 of each year. The General University scholarship priority deadline is November 1.

Junior or senior student preparing to become an Agricultural Education teacher.
H. Leigh Baker Scholarship
Student preparing to become a teacher, counselor, or administrator in Secondary Education.
Sharon and John Beckwith Scholarship
Student majoring in Education.
Laura M. and Lavina Beichley Memorial Scholarship
Undergraduate student in the College of Education preparing for a career as a public school teacher.
Fritz and Mary Glanville Benninghoven Memorial Scholarship
Sophomore, junior, or senior student in Education who is a graduate of Chase County Community High School.
Paul Blackwood Memorial Scholarship
Student in Education whose intent is to teach science or mathematics.
Howard R. Bradley Memorial Scholarship
Student majoring in Agricultural Education.
Kenneth and Maxine Burkhard Science Teaching Scholarship
Preference to graduate student working towards certification for secondary schools in chemistry, biochemistry, physics, mathematics, biology, or microbiology; second preference to junior or senior majoring in one of these areas working towards certification in secondary schools.
Charles H. and Colene K. Butler Scholarship
Junior student majoring in Milling Science in the College of Agriculture or a junior student enrolled in the College of Education preparing to become a teacher.
Dr. John W. and Nadine DeMand Memorial Scholarship
Student in the College of Education pursuing a degree in a Special Education curriculum.
Mark Dickerson Memorial Scholarship
Preference to graduate student working towards a degree to teach mentally handicapped persons; second preference to junior or senior preparing to teach mentally handicapped learners.
Constance Varley Earhart Memorial Scholarship
Minority or needy student in the College of Education.
Golda D. Faulkner Memorial Scholarship
Student from Nemaha or Marshall counties majoring in Education.

Multicultural student enrolled in the College of Education; preference to Job Corps graduate.
Marjorie Lomas French Memorial Scholarship
Student preparing to become a teacher in mathematics.
Ellsworth M. and G. Luella Gerritz Scholarship
Preference to a sophomore, junior or senior Native American student preparing to become a teacher.
Katherine Geyer Scholarship
Junior or senior female student enrolled in the College of Education pursuing a degree that will enable her to teach, train, and guide young people either in public recreation or educational institutions.
Lynn and Ray Hausmann Graduate Fellowship
Graduate student in the College of Education.
F. Floyd Herr Memorial Scholarship
Junior or senior majoring in Education with evident promise of becoming a teacher.
Edwin Lee Holton Memorial Scholarship
Outstanding senior or graduate student in Elementary or Secondary Education or a special field related to either Elementary or Secondary Education.

Preference to a graduate of Clay Center Community High School who is majoring in Business Administration or Education.
Barbara Ann Hunt Memorial Scholarship
Preference to a freshman who is a graduate of Riley County High School enrolled in the College of Education.

Preference to a student majoring in Education from Brown, Nemaha or Osage counties with leadership potential.
Joe Loeb/Kappa Delta Pi Scholarship
Student who demonstrates scholarship and leadership within the local chapter of Kappa Delta Pi.
Kimberly Kurtz Memorial Scholarship
Freshman student residing in the State of Kansas having participated in the Future Farmers of America Program and pursuing studies in the area of Agricultural Education.
David R. Laurie, Jr. Scholarship
Junior student majoring in Education with preference to a student who has participated in Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
W.W. Lee and Dorothy Lee Memorial Scholarship
in Adult and Occupational Education

Junior or senior in Agriculture Education from Jefferson County; second preference to junior or senior in Education from Republic or Shawnee County.

Sophomore, junior or senior student enrolled in the College of Education preparing for a teaching career with a strong interest in Physical Education or Special Education.

Two students enrolled in Education and two students enrolled in Arts & Sciences.
Tomorrow's Teacher Scholarship

Richard F. Welton Agriscience Scholarship
Senior student enrolled in Agricultural Education who is studying the application of physical and biological scientific principles in the teaching of agriscience through problem solving based on a controlled experimental method.

Sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled in the College of Education from Dickinson County, Kansas.
Donald G. Wurtz Scholarship
Student enrolled in the College of Education from Cloud, Clay, or Washington Counties or a student from the State of Kansas.
