Office of the DeanThe office of the Dean of the College of Education provides leadership and administrative support to departments, centers, and offices in the College of Education.
Educational Leadership
Home of leadership studies, the largest minor in the university. The department also offers masters and doctoral degrees in adult education and educational administration.
Elementary Education
Prepares candidates for teaching licenses in grades K-6. The bachelor's degree includes courses in general education, professional education, and an area of concentration along with a series of field experiences. The faculty members also teach courses in the graduate programs in curriculum and instruction.
Graduate Studies
Coordinates application and admission processes for graduate programs, maintains related documents and databases, and works with graduate students, faculty, and programs.
Secondary Education
Prepares candidates for teaching licenses (Grades 6-12) in 18 subject areas. Programs include courses in general studies, professional education, and specialized content.
Special Education, Counseling and Student Affairs
Offers masters and doctoral degrees, with emphases in adaptive and functional special education, counseling and supervision, and college student affairs.
Student & Professional Services
Provides advising services and assignments for student teaching.
